Online training : Forklift operator

This training has been mandatory since 2007, with the RSST (Quebec) stipulating that employers are obliged to provide forklift operator training to all forklift operators in the company.

This online training course includes the theoretical part of forklift operator training. It enables learners to familiarize themselves with the laws and regulations in force, the various rules for safe operation of a forklift truck, as well as its preventive driving.

More specifically, this training enables workers to familiarize themselves with the various laws and regulations relating to the work of a forklift operator. It introduces the different vehicles available for this job, such as pallet trucks, stackers and forklifts. The characteristics of this equipment and its impact on driving are also presented in detail. This online health and safety course also presents essential information to ensure proper handling of these different vehicles. It covers the inspection to be carried out before use, the difference between moving with or without a load, the use of ramps and parking, to name but a few.
